A tour to the national park at Thingvellir (Þingvellir), Iceland's most historic place and site of the Old Icelandic Parliament, the Althing founded in AD930 and sometimes said to be the oldest in the world. Thingvellir National Park has been inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Other attractions include Drekkingarhyl, a deep pool at the base of a waterfall where the Öxará river plunges down a sheer rock face, once used for executions, and Peningagjá, a water-filled chasm as crystal-clear as it is deep.
