All bookings must be made through one of the website´s booking forms. Payment can be made by credit card in ISK (Icelandic Krona) on the website or in the car to the driver. If you want to make the payment in the car in foreign currency, we calculate the rate based on the Central Bank of Iceland and we will use the rate as it is on the day of the tour.
You can pay in the car with either cash, ISK, US, EUR, Pounds or credit cards. Taxi Iceland Tours.ehf uses Dalpay Retail that makes sure we can offer you secure and easy online checkout, after completing checkout you will be transferred to Dalpay where you fill out your credit card information.
We follow the cancellation policy set by Icelandic Travel Industry Association. You may cancel your booked arrangements at any time. You must give us written notice by email signed by the person who made the original booking. If you cancel a tour we refund you your payment.
Refunds use the same method as the original payment. If you paid by credit card, the refund will be to the same credit card. The bank´s or credit card company´s service charge is deducted from the refund. This applies both to day tours and package tours.
If your travel arrangements change and you need to do a tour at a earlier/later date during your visit to Iceland we will simply change it. Taxi Iceland Tours reserves the right to adjust or change tours according to weather and snow conditions.
If you have booked a tour and made a payment with a credit card and we cancel the tour due to bad weather or unsafe conditions, we will refund the cost of the tour 100%.
